Brookside Motor Inn - Upper Jay

Spacious layout with a cozy cabin feel made the two-bedroom suite enjoyable for our family. The décor felt a bit dated, and I found the mattress firmness less than ideal. Wi-Fi was spotty in one bedroom, which hindered our experience since we had kids needing access. Breakfast at a nearby café added to our stay.

Big and warm room with separate bathroom and central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave oven. Stunning, comfy location close to everything. Close enough to Lake Placid 4th, the river and Whiteface Mountain.

Really enjoyed a microwave oven, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The cost was US$ 140.

Consider bringing your own air freshener, as the musty odor lingered in our room.

We enjoyed the cozy two-bedroom suite, perfect for our family of five. The space reminded us of a cabin, feel inviting. We appreciated the good water pressure in the showers and enjoyed breakfast at the cafe nearby. Even found some great trails for hiking!

My wife says that the beds were quite hard. A few extra comfy pillows would be a nice touch for families.

The two-bedroom suite was spacious with a great layout! I loved having two bathrooms, made getting ready in the morning so much easier. The cleanliness was excellent, and the owners were kind and attentive to our needs. I highly enjoyed the cozy feel of the hotel, particularly the lovely brook behind it. It added a tranquil vibe to our stay.

great access to chasm views and nearby nature spots

i had a wonderful stay at a motel that was centrally positioned to explore ausable chasm and whiteface memorial highway, both just about 25 minutes away, perfect for beautiful weekend walks and exploring parks with fine views.

The location, the cleanliness, the friendly atmosphere, the convenient check-in process, a good stay!
